Day 1. Arrival in Singapore
Welcome to the Lion City!
On arrival you will be met at the airport and driven to your dream resort on Sentosa Island.

Day 2. Singapore
Enjoy your stay in the Lion City. Numerous entertainment options, such as Universal Studios and beautiful beaches with water sports activities are in the immediate vicinity. Your resort also offers a free shuttle bus for guests.

Day 3. Singapore
Enjoy your stay in the city-state of superlatives. There are tons of entertainment options and fantastic street food waiting for you.

Day 4. Singapore - Medan - Tangkahan
Today you leave the Lion City and start your adventure in Sumatra. On arrival you will be greeted by your private guide and chauffeur. On the way we offer you a fantastic discovery tour to the Royal Palace of the Sultan of Deli, also known as Maimon Palace, built in 1888. Afterwards you will visit the great mosque Mesjid Raya, built in 1906 (depending on your arrival time in Medan may this city tour also take place on day 8 or on day 9). Afterwards you will go to the jungle of Tangkahan.

Day 5. Tangkahan - Jungle Tour
After breakfast and well rested, you will go on a discovery tour through the jungle of Tangkahan with your private guide. Your experienced guide will explain everything you need to know about the unique flora and fauna of the tropical rainforest and carefully ensure that, with a little luck, you will discover wild orangutans, gibbons, macaques, elephants and many other exotic animal and plant species on your trip Trekking tour through the dense jungle and crystal clear rivers. The tour also takes you along mysteriously seeming caves with ancient stalactites and stalagmites. To top it off, slide along the Batang Serangan River on swim rings and feel as if you were dancing through the jungle. Safe with a helmet and life jacket, of course. You will have your lunch en route (included).

Day 6. Tangkahan - Bukit Lawang - Elephant washing & bathing
Today you have the unique opportunity to wash and bathe the patrol elephants in the Leuser National Park.
Please note:
The elephants are not circus attractions for tourists – they are the heroes of the jungle and work for nature conservation!
In Indonesia (and throughout Southeast Asia) elephants have been used as livestock for thousands of years, as has horses in Europe and America. The elephants are bred and spend the days of the week in the jungle, not in cages or enclosures. For centuries they have been used as a means of transport through the jungle to combat illegal loggers and poachers.
The patrol elephants and park rangers in Tangkahan have our greatest respect.
Of course, the elephants deserve good treatment and also enjoy being washed and bathed.
Then we continue with the jeep towards Bukit Lawang. On the way you will see many plantations of the most exotic fruits and you will get in contact with the local population during a few stops. You will have your lunch en route (included). When you arrive in Bukit Lawang, you first check into your lodge and then go with your guide in search of wild orangutans and other native wildlife in the Leuser National Park.

Day 7. Bukit Lawang - Orang Utan Tour
Your trekking tour (approx. 6 hours) through the Leuser National Park in search of wild animals begins in the early morning. The park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a safe home to the critically endangered Sumatran orangutan, the Sumatran tiger and the Sumatran rhinoceros. 75% of the wild population of orangutans live in this park. Therefore, the chance of wildlife observation is particularly great. Macaques, langurs, gibbons, peacocks, flying squirrels and hornbills can also be seen frequently. Your guide will tell you everything you need to know about nature and its inhabitants along the way.

Day 8. Bukit Lawang - Berastagi
Today you break into the cool mountain world of Berastagi in about 5 hours. Along the beautiful traditional villages and waterfalls you will make a stop to explore the Lumbini Nationpark. In addition to the unique nature and biodiversity of Sumatra, you can admire the Taman Alam Lumbiniis, near the village of Dolat Rayat. The complex is a beautiful copy of the “Shwedagon Pagoda” from Yangon in Myanmar and is just as artistically gilded. The high mountains with their fertile soils are the most important producers of fruits, vegetables and flowers in North Sumatra. Discover and taste the most delicious and exotic fruits in the Berastagi fruit and vegetable market. Before you go to your hotel, enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the two volcanoes Sinabung and Sibayak from Gudaling Hill.

Day 9. Berastagi - Samosir
After a hearty breakfast, today, in about 6 hours, we go to the largest crater lake on earth – Lake Toba. Enjoy the wonderful view along lakes, pine forests and fruit and vegetable plantations. On the way, take a coffee break at Batak Village Dokan Village. Explore the traditional everyday life of the locals and taste one of the best coffees in the world, from the villagers’ plantations. Of course you will also make a stop at the highest waterfall in Sumatra, the Sipiso-Piso. Once in Parapat, take the ferry across Lake Toba to Samosir Island.

Day 10. Samosir - Batak-Tour
Today you will experience the traditional Batak culture during your visit to several Batak Toba villages. In Tomok, the most historically important place on the island, you will find the megalithic royal tombs of the Sidabutar dynasty. In Ambarita they learn more about the legend of King Siallang and his stone chair circle, where cannibalistic rituals are said to have been held in pre-Christian times. Experience a performance of the traditional Batak Toba dance “Tor-Tor” and visit the Batak Museum. On Tao Island you have the opportunity to refresh yourself while bathing in the clear water of Lake Toba.

Day 11. Samosir - Medan
After breakfast you will be driven to the ferry to Parapat, cross Lake Toba and drive back to Medan.

Today your guide awaits you after breakfast and check-out for your flight to Padang (included) before heading to the tropical paradise Cubadak Island the next day.

Today, after your check-out, you will be expected at the lobby at 9:00 a.m. to drive you from the port to Cubadak Paradiso Island.
